The 2026 Delaware FCCLA State Competition was on Friday, January 9, 2026. H.B. DuPont Middle School swept every event they were in.

Winners Include:


Food Innovations - used a locally grown item to create a health snack

• Team #2 - Norah M, Gemma L & Adalynn P

Repurpose and Redesign

• Team #1 - Ava K & Tamara N - turned used corks and wood from a pallet into a kitchen trivet
• Team #2 - Sienna W, Olivia T & Quinn W - turned used thread spools and wood from a pallet into jewelry organizer and coat rack
• Team #3 - Zyaan A - turned a used tire into flip flops
• ​​​​​​​Team #4 - Gabriel J, Natjalie R & Scarlett F - turned used jeans and a curtain into a carrying bag

Professional Presentation 

• Team #1 - Alana B & Delantis Z - Argued how shyness could negatively affect school work and social development
