Students at HBMS have three 70-minute class periods per day (ELA, Math, Science or Social Studies). Students see their Social Studies and Science teachers every other day. In addition, students will have two exploratory classes each day.  Students have two 40 minute exploratory periods per day. They attend  the same two exploratory classes for one semester (two marking periods).  

Academics: English Language Arts (ELA), Math (including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and Geometry), Science and Social Studies 

Exploratory Options: Art, Band, Business (7th and 8th Grade), Chorus, Computer Science (7th and 8th Grade), Family Consumer Science (FCS), Jobs for Delaware Graduates (JDG), PE/Health, Spanish, Technology Literacy (6th Grade), Technology Education (7th and 8th Grade).    

Music Department Options: Beginner and Advanced Bands, Chorus, Chamber Choir, Strings, Men’s Choir, and Jazz Band 

HBMS offers over 20 Different After School Clubs and Activities: Art Club, Best Buddies, Business Professionals of America (BPA), Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Lego Robotics, Math Counts, Math League, Musical, National Junior Honor Society, Odyssey of the Mind, Science Olympiad, Technology Student Association (TSA), Tennis, Yearbook

Welcome to the HB du Pont Middle School Online Store!

Please Note:

• All items are custom ordered. 
• All orders are processed together once the order period closes.
• The customer may choose a different size, color or a refund if the item becomes back ordered or out of stock while the store is open.
• Allow approximately 4 weeks from the date the store closes for your order to be ready.  The store closes at midnight the day the order period ends.  
• Returns only for damaged items and incorrect sizing. Incorrect sizing returns cannot be worn or washed. 
• All returns need to be completed within 14 days of the delivery date.
• Items will be delivered to HB du Pont Middle School and distributed at lunch by the Grade Level Administrator.

What does it mean to be "Warrior Strong"?

At HB duPont, we pride ourselves in being "Warrior Strong." We teach students behavior expectations in all areas of the school: hallways, classrooms, the cafeteria, the bus, and even the bathroom! Warriors are accepting, responsible, and engaged every day of the week. We make sure our students are stakeholders in this process, and they create reminder lessons, taught on E days, for their peers to see and talk about.
